"As in any form of art, Photography has two major aspects: The Tangible-Technical skill; and the intangible - the mind and the ability to visualize. Very few photographer/artists today mastered in both aspects. Lee Peterson is one of them. Lee is a scientist, an artist and more importantly, a perfectionist and a dreamer who has dedicated his life to photography. Lee's unique vision is spiritual and personal. His subtle but powerful images reveal what we see but never thought, and recognize as the truth. Lee's images speak to me of natural harmony that flow smoothly and freely, revealing Yin and Yang, music to the soul, the truth and Tao." Steve Lu, Hong Kong, China

My art extends beyond the explanation an definition of what is art. It is therapy of the mind and soul whereby I record the patterns I see and feel so deeply in an attempt to explain their effect on me.
Art is defined as: artNoun/ärt/ The expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power. With the medium of photographic imagery I can shape and redraw the visual world to fit into my minds eye. With my Global Art I enter into a molecular level where this world is very different from the way we experience it. The weird 'quantum' nature of this molecular world is explicit in the image and we have lost the ability to experience time and the ability to see. To really see takes time, and this integrated practice is a form of generosity that is rare as we are drowned in a multitude of visual experiences. This is where the SUM EQUALS π Divided by E6(string theory) equates to a non tangible harmony that exists only in our mind allowing the viewer to transcend the space surrounding him. It is the visual haiku of Basho Matsuo poetry, simple and profound, visual and beyond the words of description.
